Integrevise for Nova Southeastern University

Keep online assessment human-centered, rigorous and explainable.

NSU educators are combining oral exams with generative-AI assignments to strengthen critical thinking, digital fluency and ethical use. Integrevise provides a short adaptive discussion grounded in each student’s submitted work, producing reviewable evidence of understanding without requiring every conversation to happen live.

One practical evidence layer

Support authentic assessment without adding a live viva to every submission.

Integrevise works from materials teaching teams already use. It creates a structured opportunity for explanation while academic judgment remains with the university.

For NSU

Connect innovation with human evidence.

Support NSU’s online and graduate learning context with a consistent record of what students understand, not simply what appears in a submission.

For academics

Retain oral insight without calendar pressure.

Ask adaptive questions from the existing assignment context and review the resulting evidence when academic attention is most valuable.

For students

Build metacognition and AI fluency together.

Invite students to explain choices, evaluate tool use and reflect on their learning through a clear, bounded conversation.

Early evidence, clearly bounded

A practical approach with preliminary university evidence.

A published, multi-cycle study at one private US liberal-arts college offers preliminary qualitative evidence that post-submission oral verification can surface comprehension gaps and implementation issues. It does not establish broad efficacy or scalability.

Human-centered assessment at NSU

NSU faculty are already blending oral assessment and responsible AI use.

At NSU’s November 2025 teaching and learning conference, a graduate Educational Leadership session combined oral finals with GenAI-enhanced tasks to preserve human insight and address synchronous scheduling. Other NSU sessions focused on authentic assignments and ethical, human-in-the-loop AI workflows.

Integrevise offers a direct response to that practical constraint: it retains adaptive student explanation while creating a reviewable record for faculty. It complements NSU’s assessment design and academic-integrity decisions rather than automating them.
